Yugyeom has cultivated a fiercely loyal following that transcends the typical K-pop fanbase, blending the collective power of GOT7's I GOT7 with a personal devotion to his artistic evolution. The fandom is renowned for its organized strength, executing massive birthday campaigns in Times Square and Seoul while mobilizing global streaming parties to boost his solo chart performance. Fans deeply resonate with his narrative of resilience, particularly after he openly shared financial struggles during the pandemic, a moment that solidified a bond built on mutual respect rather than just idol worship. His reputation as the "perfect dancer" remains legendary, with stories of him practicing until his feet bleed serving as an enduring inspiration for the community. This dedication is mirrored in his unique connection with fans through spontaneous "jikcam" moments, which have become a ritualistic expectation at his appearances and earned him top honors in recent polls.

While his work with AOMG has allowed him to showcase a mature R&B persona distinct from his energetic group days, the core of his audience remains the dedicated supporters who track every step of his journey from trainee to military enlistment. Despite his immense popularity and the high engagement of his fanbase, Yugyeom does not currently hold a placement in the published iFANN Global Top 1,000 rankings or any Top-100 scope list as of August 2026. He is evaluated by the iFANN Global Fame Engine but stands unranked in the current global hierarchy. While members of I GOT7 refer to themselves collectively, there is no separate, distinct official name exclusively for Yugyeom's personal fanbase documented.[แก้ไข]

Known affectionately as "Brownie," Yugyeom holds the distinction of being the tallest member of GOT7 despite being the youngest maknae, a fact that often leads people to mistake him for one of the older members. Born Kim Yugyeom in Seoul, he spent part of his childhood in Saudi Arabia before settling in South Korea, where he honed his street dance skills with the crew Body & Soul. He maintains a close friendship with Woong of AB6IX from their high school and trainee days and owns a home studio where he starts each morning greeting his three dogs. His favorite artist is Chris Brown, a connection strengthened after they followed each other on Instagram following a chance encounter with a graffiti mural. In July 2024, he graced the cover of Vogue Hong Kong, and he studied in the Model Department at Daekyeung University.

Legends within the fandom often retell the story of his "Perfect Dance" reputation, claiming he practiced routines flawlessly multiple times in a row during his JYP training days, a narrative that explains his technical precision in performances like "Just Right." Another iconic chapter involves his emotional farewell upon enlisting in September 2025, where his letter to fans became a major cultural moment, marking a transition point as he prepared to serve alongside his bandmates. Fans also celebrate his 2024 comeback single "Ponytail," which sparked a viral wave of dance covers and symbolized his ability to reinvent himself while staying true to his roots.[แก้ไข]

Updated for 2026, research by the iFANN Editorial Team estimates Yugyeom's net worth at $2 Million. His income is derived from his multifaceted career as a singer, dancer, songwriter, model, and record producer. Financial growth began with GOT7's album sales, world tours, and merchandise revenue. Following his departure from JYP Entertainment, he signed with AOMG, generating significant earnings from solo releases, streaming numbers, and live performances. Additional revenue streams include songwriting and production royalties, along with endorsement deals and modeling work, though specific brand partnerships remain undisclosed. While he has not publicly discussed real estate holdings or investment portfolios, his consistent output across music and fashion sectors sustains this valuation.[แก้ไข]
