Tendo-sensei occupies a unique space in global culture, straddling the line between a revered manga artist and a widely recognized fictional character. The real-world artist behind the Boruto sequel remains an enigma, with no public image or verified fame metrics collected to date. Consequently, iFANN has not yet gathered specific ranking data for this individual, meaning no global placement can be assigned at this time. In contrast, the name Tendo-sensei carries significant weight as the protagonist of the 2020 Netflix drama An Incurable Case of Love. While the actor Takeru Satoh portrays this cardiologist, the character himself has inspired a dedicated following centered on his romantic arc rather than a formal organization. Fans identify primarily through the drama's title or the pairing known as the "BAKA Couple," creating content that highlights the duality of his professional harshness and private gentleness. There is no official moniker for this fanbase, nor are there documented large-scale campaigns or charity drives specifically named after Dr. Tendo. Engagement remains organic, flourishing on platforms like Reddit's r/JDorama and YouTube, where fan-made videos celebrating the relationship between Tendo and Nanase Sakura have garnered hundreds of thousands of views. These digital tributes serve as the primary ritual for fans, who dissect the "Devil" persona lore and the five-year reunion story. Unlike celebrities with massive physical tours or subway ads, the influence of this fictional figure is contained within the narrative mythology and the emotional resonance of the performances.[แก้ไข]

Tendo-sensei stands as the third artist to illustrate the Boruto manga, following Masashi Kishimoto, who drew the original movie tie-in one-shot, and Mikio Ikemoto, the first ongoing illustrator from 2016 to 2020. The pen name translates roughly to 'Heavenly Way Teacher', a fittingly enigmatic choice that matches the artist's reclusive nature. No photograph of Tendo-sensei exists in any public database, including Shueisha's official press materials. Their art style is notably distinct from Kishimoto's, featuring thinner lines, more angular faces, and a heavier use of screentone. Fans on Reddit's r/Boruto frequently debate whether Tendo-sensei is a single person or a small team using a shared pseudonym, though no evidence supports the latter. The artist has never attended a public event, signing, or convention related to Boruto. Within the broader anime and manga culture, there is a fictional character named Kairi Tendo from the 2020 Japanese drama An Incurable Case of Love (also known as Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo) who is affectionately called Tendo-sensei by viewers. A widely retold story within that show's mythology involves the 'Devil' persona at the hospital, where his harsh exterior contrasts sharply with a hidden gentleness toward Nanase Sakura. Viewers have also produced numerous fan-made videos celebrating the 'BAKA Couple' dynamic between him and Sakura, highlighting how his perfectionism drives the narrative arc.[แก้ไข]

As a manga artist on a licensed franchise, income likely comes from Shueisha's standard royalty rates (approximately 8-10% of the cover price per volume sold) and a monthly serialization fee from V Jump. With over 2 million copies of Boruto in circulation, royalties alone could amount to several hundred thousand dollars, though Masashi Kishimoto and other rights holders take a significant share. Merchandise and anime adaptation royalties are possible but unconfirmed. Unofficial fan estimates range from $500,000 to $1 million, but these are purely speculative. Per iFANN's editorial analysis, Tendo-sensei's net worth is estimated at around $1 Million as of 2026, based on typical industry earnings for a mid-tier monthly serialization artist.[แก้ไข]
