Rose Matafeo commands a substantial global audience through her distinct blend of observational humor and romantic comedy, establishing herself as a leading voice in contemporary British and New Zealand entertainment. Her career trajectory has elevated her from a festival standout to an international star with significant media presence across television, film, and streaming platforms. Despite this widespread recognition and critical acclaim for projects like Starstruck and Horndog, the iFANN Global Fame Engine has evaluated her current standing and determined that she does not currently hold a placement within the published Global Top 1,000 rankings or any specific Top-100 scope list. This evaluation reflects a status where her fame is highly concentrated within specific comedy and genre demographics rather than achieving the universal saturation required for a top-tier global ranking at this moment. Her fanbase operates without a formalized collective identity; while supporters often identify informally as Rosebuds or simply fans of her work, no official fandom name is documented in authoritative records. The community engages primarily through organic social media interaction and viewership of her scripted series and stand-up specials, lacking the structured campaigns, named rituals, or chaotic legendary incidents sometimes associated with higher-ranked figures.[แก้ไข]

Rose Matafeo was the first of only five female solo comedians to win the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2018, marking a historic milestone for New Zealanders and people of color in the industry. She performed dual roles in school productions during her youth, showcasing her versatility early on before making her stand-up debut at age fifteen. Her vintage style and endearing quirkiness have become trademarks in her performances, distinguishing her from peers in the sketch and improv scenes. A widely retold story in her career mythology involves the creation of Starstruck, which filled a notable gap in television representation by offering a fresh take on the rom-com genre that resonated deeply with audiences worldwide. Another significant narrative focuses on her 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival show, Horndog, which won the award for Best Show and later became an HBO Max special, cementing her status as a top-tier comedian. While there are no verified accounts of crowds disrupting events or supernatural fan hysteria, her professional milestones serve as the central pillars of her public legend, including her role as Loto in Moana 2 and her continued productivity in projects like On and On and On.[แก้ไข]

iFANN's editorial analysis places Rose Matafeo's estimated net worth at $5 million as of 2026. This financial standing is built upon a diverse portfolio of income streams derived from her extensive work in comedy and acting. Her earnings are driven significantly by sold-out stand-up tours, such as her runs for On and On and On, which attract large crowds across the UK and US. Television salaries from high-profile series like Starstruck on HBO Max and Funny Girls constitute major contributors, with each season adding substantially to her total wealth. Film roles, including voicing Loto in Moana 2 in 2024, and specials like the HBO Max version of Horndog further bolster her finances. Endorsements and appearances on talk shows such as The Graham Norton Show have also boosted her economic position in recent years. Since relocating to London around 2021, investments in property, including her apartment, have helped grow her assets. Over the past few years, her net worth has increased steadily due to rising demand for her comedy, with live performances and streaming deals playing key roles. Her career momentum from awards and international exposure has led to higher fees for projects, ensuring her financial status remains stable and growing by 2026.[แก้ไข]
