Fans actively curate lists of his action films and generate substantial hype for his anticipated return as Qui-Gon Jinn in a 2027 Star Wars release. The community celebrates his late-career pivot from dramatic actor to action icon, viewing his resilience in performing stunts well into his seventies as a defining legend. The story fans often retell involves Neeson praising Jean-Claude Van Damme's potential before Van Damme took a different path, cementing Neeson's reputation as a mentor figure. His legacy is defined by the stark contrast between his Oscar-nominated performance in Schindler's List and his later turn as a vengeful father in Taken. This duality created a unique brand where his mere presence in an action trailer guarantees immediate attention. In mid-2026, he achieved a rare feat for an actor over seventy, becoming a streaming smash hit with a 106-minute action thriller that outperformed many younger leads. Rumors of his return to the Star Wars universe to reprise his role as Qui-Gon Jinn continue to fuel excitement among sci-fi enthusiasts.[แก้ไข]
