Junki Kono currently holds no placement in the iFANN Global Top 1,000 rankings or any published scope list. While the iFANN evaluation confirms his status as a leading vocal force within J-pop, he has not yet secured a specific numerical rank against the global field of celebrities. This absence of a number reflects a unique position where massive regional dominance has not yet translated into a ranked standing on the worldwide scale.

His audience operates under the collective identity of JO1STARS, the official fanbase for the group rather than a separate entity dedicated solely to Kono. Fans engage with him through the group's unified strategies, from streaming parties and coordinated light-stick chants to supporting album releases like HORIZON. There are no documented solo birthday campaigns, subway advertisements, or charity drives bearing his name alone; instead, his supporters channel their energy into the broader success of JO1. Kono maintains direct contact via his Instagram account, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses that reinforce his connection to the fandom without establishing a distinct sub-community.

The legendary status surrounding Kono is built on consistent excellence rather than chaotic viral incidents. He is revered as an "open-throated vocal engine," a reputation cemented by his collaboration with Hiroyuki Sawano on the single "Outsiders" and his role as the vocal leader anchoring live performances. A defining moment of international recognition occurred in April 2021 when Korean media outlets highlighted his striking visuals, sparking a wave of interest that transcended Japan. Unlike idols defined by dramatic on-stage outbursts, Kono's lore is one of professional reliability and aesthetic impact, making him a steady pillar of the group's identity.[แก้ไข]

Junki Kono's official color is light blue, and he is known for his love of curry rice and pasta carbonara. He once promised to throw a carbonara party if he made the final lineup on Produce 101 Japan, a pledge he honored upon joining the group. A huge fan of One Piece, he frequently quotes the anime during interviews. His catchphrase is "Really?" accompanied by the representative emoji 🌱, though fans also use 🍛 and 🦌. He dislikes super spicy food. In Korea, he is sometimes called "Ko Soon-hee" due to an automatic translation of his name and "Cherry Junkie" when he dyed his hair red. He is often referred to as a "Korean magnet" because viewers on Korean broadcasts frequently ask about him.

Legends surrounding Kono focus on his vocal prowess and visual impact rather than isolated folklore. Fans widely retell the story of his collaboration with composer Hiroyuki Sawano on the song "Outsiders," which established his credibility as a serious artist beyond standard idol performance. Another iconic moment involves his appearance in April 2021, where his visuals went viral across Asian markets after Korean netizens expressed admiration for his looks. These moments have become central to his reputation as a reliable vocal anchor and visual icon within the J-pop sphere.[แก้ไข]
