The iFANN Global Fame Engine has evaluated his profile, yet he remains outside the published rankings at this moment. His influence flows through a broad, unorganized audience that follows his work across genre television and music rather than rallying behind a formal collective identity. Fans discussing his career typically reference his characters, Grey Worm from Game of Thrones or Louis de Pointe du Lac from Interview with the Vampire, or simply use his name. While some social media handles exist, they serve as personal channels rather than hubs for an official fanbase structure.

The connection between Anderson and his audience often centers on his self-deprecating humor and candid discussions about mental health. He describes himself online as a "Professional sadboi" and an "Enthusiastic Shower Dancer," creating a playful persona that fans engage with without traditional rituals. In mid-2026, he participated in a viral BuzzFeed video reading "thirst tweets" alongside co-star Sam Reid, acknowledging the romantic dynamics audiences project onto their roles. This interaction highlighted a culture where appreciation is channeled through general audience engagement rather than organized campaigns or specific fan-driven projects. His recent work promoting Queen of the Damned and the film Still Life continues to draw attention from viewers who follow his professional evolution closely.[แก้ไข]

A vocal advocate for mental health awareness, he has spoken publicly about his own struggles to destigmatize the topic.

His portrayal of Grey Worm in Game of Thrones established him as an international star, transforming a silent soldier into a complex leader over seven seasons. More recently, his casting as Lestat de Lioncourt in Interview with the Vampire generated immediate buzz among horror enthusiasts and Anne Rice fans. By June 2026, he discussed feeling most comfortable performing intense emotional scenes with co-star Sam Reid, cementing their on-screen chemistry as a defining element of the show. That same year, the pair engaged directly with fan enthusiasm by reading "thirst tweets" in a viral video, blending real-life rapport with fictional romance.
