Ihor Potieria is currently evaluated by the iFANN Global Fame Engine but holds no placement in the published rankings, meaning he does not appear within the Global Top 1,000 or any specific Top-100 scope list. While his name resonates deeply within combat sports circles for his aggressive "Duelist" style and high-volume striking, this lack of a formal ranking reflects his status as a respected veteran rather than a global pop-culture phenomenon with a massive consumer footprint. His audience consists primarily of dedicated MMA enthusiasts who follow the UFC roster closely, engaging with him through social media channels like Instagram rather than participating in organized fan clubs or rituals. There is no documented collective name for his supporters, and no evidence exists of fan-funded projects, birthday billboards, or charity drives bearing his specific branding. Instead, his connection with fans remains rooted in the sport itself: intense post-fight interviews where he dedicates victories to Ukraine, and the raw appreciation for his willingness to engage in action-packed bouts against top-tier opposition. The narrative surrounding him has evolved from a rising prospect to a figure defined by resilience, particularly after his recent roster departure and public discussions regarding mental health during wartime. This personal depth has fostered a loyal following that values his authenticity over celebrity spectacle, even if they do not operate under a unified banner. Ultimately, while he commands significant attention among those who track the middleweight division, his fame remains specialized, anchored in the gritty reality of professional fighting rather than the broad reach required for a global ranking.[แก้ไข]

Ihor Potieria's nickname "The Duelist" perfectly encapsulates his one-on-one mentality, a title that appears on every official profile. He considers leg locks his preferred grappling technique, describing them simply as "painful techniques on the leg," while favoring fast hand attacks for his striking. In his UFC athlete questionnaire, when asked about heroes, he wrote, "I strive to be a hero." His UFC debut at UFC 277 took place on the same card as Amanda Nunes's rematch win over Julianna Peña. A quick knockout victory against Carlos Ulberg ended in just 2:09 of the first round, marking one of the fastest finishes of his career. Fans often discuss his intense rivalry with Michel Pereira, a matchup that generated significant buzz ahead of their scheduled bout at UFC 301. Another notable chapter involves his weight miss controversy in January 2025 against Marco Tulio, which became a talking point regarding contract negotiations. His openness about mental health struggles during the war in Ukraine added a layer of personal depth to his public persona, resonating with many followers who see him as more than just an athlete. Beyond these established facts, a pivotal moment in his rise occurred in September 2021 when a brutal performance secured him a UFC contract, described by observers as a "merciless pummeling" that launched his international career. Additionally, his decision to face legendary fighter Mauricio Rua at UFC 283 created a compelling "David vs. Goliath" narrative that remains a key part of his resume lore.[แก้ไข]
