Antony Starr stands as the 7th most famous person from New Zealand, a position that has held steady from the previous cycle. This standing is documented in the iFANN Global Fame Rankings, which track attention across media coverage and consumption signals worldwide. While he commands this specific national spotlight, his fanbase operates without a singular formal moniker, identifying primarily through the broader The Boys community rather than a unique group name like "Starrers." The audience's energy is defined by a fierce devotion to his performance as Homelander, often debating whether fans can ever truly separate the actor from the terrifying character he embodies. A recurring ritual involves the intense speculation surrounding his cryptic comments about future plot points, such as the ongoing folklore regarding a "gruesome act" he hinted at for Season 5. Fans have also organized vocal campaigns arguing he has been unfairly snubbed by major awards bodies, framing his lack of recognition as a systemic bias against dark, complex villains. Despite maintaining a low profile, Starr engages directly with this culture by recreating viral memes on camera, bridging the gap between his private life and the public's obsession. His selective interaction extends to charitable work on Instagram, where he promotes blood donation, further humanizing the icon while keeping personal details firmly behind closed doors.[แก้ไข]

Antony Starr is naturally a brunette but dyes his hair blond for his role as Homelander. He previously played twin brothers Jethro and Van West on Outrageous Fortune, honing his ability to portray multiple sides of a character. Despite his fame, he has no confirmed presence on major social media platforms, though fan accounts abound. His birthplace is sometimes listed as Auckland in some databases, but major sources specify Wellington. He has not received any major U.S. awards such as Emmys or Golden Globes. No solo magazine covers on major publications like TIME or Rolling Stone have been documented. A defining legend of his career is the seamless integration of his identity with Homelander, leading critics to describe him as having become the embodiment of toxic masculinity rather than merely playing a role. In May 2026, a new piece of lore emerged when Starr revealed that Homelander performed his most gruesome act in Season 5, sparking intense debate and confusion within the fanbase that remains unresolved. Additionally, fans frequently cite the difficulty in separating him from the character as a primary inside joke, noting that interviews often feature him addressing how audiences still cannot distinguish the man from the monster.[แก้ไข]

Per iFANN's editorial analysis, Antony Starr's net worth is estimated at $4 Million as of 2026. This figure is primarily accumulated through his extensive television work, with his salary for The Boys serving as the largest income source due to his role as the lead antagonist. Previous significant roles on Banshee and Outrageous Fortune also contributed substantially to his earnings over the years. Starr has not ventured into major endorsements or business ventures, focusing instead on acting. His film roles, such as in Wish You Were Here and The Covenant, provide additional income but are less lucrative than his television work. He likely earns residuals from streaming platforms and syndication. Real estate holdings are not publicly documented, but given his career longevity, he is financially comfortable. Industry norms suggest lead actors on successful streaming shows can earn tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars per episode as seasons progress.[แก้ไข]
