Word spread among the officers who had worked alongside Rob, and the next morning, roughly 70 of them lined up outside the school entrance, a mix of regular uniforms and SWAT gear, waiting for Dakota. His uncle, Greg Pitts, later shared that Dakota's wish was straightforward: he just wanted someone in that familiar uniform to be there, not to replace his dad, but to offer a sense of the known.
