Me and my friends that I like went to high school with would play Halo together. I played the cross in high school and all of my friends that I played the cross with would go home after practice and play Halo. And I liked it. It was cool. I was like a middling average player in my friend group. Call of Duty World at War came out that year and everybody got it for Christmas and I hopped on that game and I was exceptional at it. And the way I describe it to people today is like, I was the best in my class. Like I was like the best high school basketball player in their high school. but then when I went deeper and deeper on like the professional like the competitive shit I was nothing compared to the LeBron James of the world but I was still super interested in it I was deep in the community for it um I stumbled across some like hacking forum that like described line by line how to like unlock achievements and like get gamer pictures for free which you would normally have to pay for and like change your avatar skin color to like blue which you shouldn't be able to do like jailbreak the thing and it was a line by line and it it involved calling xbox and getting some special cable down. I expected it not to work and it did. And at this time in 20, 2008, YouTube was meta was all like how tos, how to change a tire, how to cook an egg. And that's how I use the two. It was like informational, like visual learning before that. I was just Google and like random forms, whatever. Um, so blew my mind that this didn't exist on YouTube. I looked everywhere for it on YouTube. It was nowhere to be found on YouTube and it worked for me. So I went to radio shack about a mic for 15 bucks, made the video with the hyper cam step by step and the video got like, yeah, seven, 800,000 views and connected my, my PayPal to it, got paid. I couldn't believe I was, I was pilled on it since then. I was never getting offline after that.
