He recalls being the least experienced person at his job when everybody else had done 50 gigs. In those situations you might wonder why others are listening to them. Because this is the thing about directors nine times out of 10, even though I've been acting for 30 years, nine times out of 10, a director is the least experienced person at their job on that set. Right. Right. Right. And quite often, if you're a young first time director as well, you're the least experienced person full stop. Yeah. I was the least experienced person at my job on that set, probably when everybody else had done 50 gigs in their respective jobs. And you're like, why are they listening to me?
