What’s something you thought was BS until it actually happened to you?

You know those things people always warn you about when you're younger, and you just roll your eyes thinking 'whatever.' Then one day it hits you and you realize they were right all along. What's that one thing for you?

used to hate my dad for cheating and smoking. not saying id do it, but i get why he did now. being in a shit relationship where you're constantly put down makes you look for validation somewhere else.

thought eating like shit and skipping workouts was fine for years. blamed getting older for feeling tired. turns out i had three blocked arteries, two at 90% and one fully. got em fixed and feel 20 years younger now.

good for you man. younger guys especially always seem to think that way. i was married then single so i know the deal. dating apps are awful but thats just how it is now and it gets depressing. but honestly its true you meet people when you quit trying so hard.

this is literally the oldest story ever, you and every other guy out there. what's the one thing all these relationships have in common, cause it keeps happening over and over

turns out a ton of us are dealing with this, sucks to see. hope we can all pick up some useful advice,

another one in the same boat. for me its more than no sex, my wife hates any physical touch. we did therapy but she drops out after a few sessions. now its just money and habit keeping us together, kids are grown and gone.
