Sombr on nepo baby label and AIDS advocacy

The label "nepo baby" is what Sombr is pushing back against, and the reason comes down to what his parents actually spent their lives doing. His dad had a career in music, yes, but that's not the same as the work his mom and dad put in fighting AIDS, and Sombr says he's proud of them in a way he can't really put into words. He'll respect them forever for choosing that path, calling it important and incredible. What he finds genuinely insane is the idea that their advocacy could be twisted into some kind of fast track for him, like it would somehow land him a deal or turn him into a star. That connection just doesn't track for him. His own career, meanwhile, is something he says he's committed to the same fight.
