Killers Of The Flower Moon came out in 2023 and Scorsese directed it but I need to be clear about where this sits in his filmography. This is not his most entertaining work and it is not his most stylish either. It runs for three and a half hours yet remains necessary because it serves as an indictment of American greed, racism, and systemic structures. That specific combination makes it his most important work even if the runtime demands patience.
