Steve Witkoff Jared Kushner Kyiv talks

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺 Trump's top negotiator is telling Ukraine that ending this war will require compromises. Steve Witkoff arrived in Kyiv after meeting Putin in Moscow a day earlier, this time joined by Jared Kushner for talks with Zelensky and European officials. Witkoff said both Russia and Ukraine will have to compromise and that Washington has brought ideas it thinks could narrow the gap. But the biggest gap hasn't really moved. Putin still wants Ukraine to hand over the Donbas, including territory Russia hasn't managed to capture on the battlefield. Zelensky ruled that out again, calling Donbas central to Ukraine's survival and defense. And despite all the diplomacy, Kushner openly admitted they still don't know whether a peace package is even possible. So they're talking again, which is something.
