Patrice Evra on former teammates

Patrice Evra has a lot to say about his former teammates and their current roles in the media. He's hoping Paul Scholes' Instagram story was either fake or the result of a hack because he's not surprised by what Scholesy is saying these days. Back when they played together, Scholes was the quietest player Evra ever knew, so seeing him drop bombshells in the media now feels like a stark contrast. It's annoying to hear negative analysis coming from Scholesy, Roy Keane, and Gary Neville when the team just wants to reach the top four. These comments feel unnecessary, but that negativity is just part of working in TV where you can't really be positive. Evra points out that most of these guys get a managerial job and get fired straightaway anyway. He even told Gary Neville back when he was at Valencia that speaking on TV is easy compared to the reality of managing there. When people were asking Neville for paella while he was at Valencia, all he gave them was fish and chips. #PatriceEvra
