UPI transaction growth India

India's UPI transaction volume has grown exponentially over the past decade. From a mere ₹2 crore in FY 2016,17, it surged to ₹92 crore the next year, then ₹535 crore in FY 2018,19. The upward trajectory continued: ₹1,251 crore in FY 2019,20, ₹2,233 crore in FY 2020,21, ₹4,597 crore in FY 2021,22, ₹8,375 crore in FY 2022,23, and ₹13,116 crore in FY 2023,24. In FY 2024,25, the volume reached ₹18,586 crore.
