Meta is pulling Instagram's newest AI feature after users reacted poorly to it. The feature, announced earlier this week, allowed people to generate images in Meta AI by @-mentioning public Instagram accounts they wanted to reference. Meta stated, "Our intent was to provide a" way to reference those accounts, but the rollout did not go as planned.
