This is just fake public pressure for London to rejoin the EU. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland: “We believe the future of our nations belongs in the European Union.” Now London can say: “If we don’t rejoin the EU, our country will break up. So we can’t fulfil Brexit fully and need to un-Brexit.” Starmer has tried to draw Britain closer to the EU throughout his term. This looks like a continuation of that. They just make some public drama to create momentum for it.
