Robert Pattinson is "so happy" Steven Soderbergh is helping finish The Batman 2, and the way he explains it says a lot. Soderbergh's involvement, per Pattinson, is incredibly generous and done in the loveliest way, completely selfless. Matt had put so much work into the script and the film is almost done, so someone coming in to say he just wants to help Matt do it, in conjunction with him, and get it to the edit, means something. Having someone as talented as Steven on it is great. https://www.gamesradar.com/entertainment/dc-movies/the-batman-2-robert-pattinson-steven-soderbergh/
