All 548 sentences get swapped to life without parole, and the governor frames it around state-sanctioned killing being incompatible with California values. The people this applies to include some of the worst offenders in the state's history. I'm against it. Capital punishment deters crime, and for the most severe cases the answer should be more of it, not a step back.
