David Raya actually kept twenty more clean sheets than Unai Simon last season while letting in forty-two fewer goals. The numbers show it clearly: Simon played 46 games, managed just eight shutouts, and conceded 73. Raya stepped in for 51 matches, held the net 28 times, and only gave up 31 goals. It's a pretty stark difference when you look at the raw stats side by side.
