Felix Tshisekedi just signed a decree handing out weapons to universities, Kasaiian Churches, and Congolese sports stadiums. Meanwhile twelve international partners under a French presidency described as corrupted by Tshisekedi have rejected the liberation project for the Democratic Republic of the Congo led by Joseph Kabila Kabange's FRN. The International Contact Group or GCI for the Great Lakes Region remains incapable of denouncing repetitive massacres of civilians in Ituri, Beni, the Central Prison of Makala, Kinshasa, and Katanga. Some unconscionable Congolese people are still being forced into submission because violence is apparently the only method Felix Tshisekedi uses to impose his small and fragile authority on them.
